Christopher E. Baker, M.D.
Dr. Baker completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Originally from South Florida, Dr. Baker is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine where he was the recipient of the prestigious Chapman Scholarship. Passionate about health and fitness, Dr. Baker’s desire to help patients in living healthy and active lives naturally drew him towards Sports Medicine. Dr. Baker returns to the South with his wife, Tori, and young son, Liam.
Jason C. Phillips, M.D.
A graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Phillips completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. During his residency training, Dr. Phillips was the recipient of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association Resident Teaching Award, the Einstein Resident Teaching Award, and also the Einstein Resident Research Award. Currently, Dr. Phillips is conducting research focused around the use of biologics for ACL reconstruction as well as metabolic deficiencies in shoulder arthroplasty patients. A true lover of sports and a former college football player, Dr. Phillips chose his career path to orthopaedic surgery at a young age. Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Phillips comes to Greenville with his wife, Michelle, and daughters, Mikayla and Lexi.
Stephan G. Pill, M.D.
Dr. Pill completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he also completed orthopaedic surgery residency. He served as the Administrative Chief Resident during residency training. His research interests focus primarily on patient related outcomes related to shoulder surgery and rehabilitation after sports injuries. Dr. Pill's hobbies include marathon running, soccer, and hiking. He comes to Greenville with his wife, Julie, who is a pediatrician.
Andrew D. Bries, M.D.
A graduate of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Dr. Bries completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Bries served as Chief Resident in his program during the 2009-2010 academic year. As a result of a study focused on the Proximal Tibial Physis in rabbits, Dr. Bries received numerous awards including first and second place in the Barry Friedman Essay Contest in 2010 and the AAP resident research paper contest respectively. Dr. Bries also attended the AOA resident leaders forum and emerging leaders forum in 2009 and 2010 respectively. Originally from Iowa, Dr. Bries comes to Greenville with his wife, Tara, and children, Cooper and Alexandra. Outside interests include spending time with his family, college football, and exercise. When finishing fellowship, he will be returning to Eastern Iowa to join Orthopedics and Rheumatology Associates in Davenport.
Nathan D. Hart, M.D.
Dr. Hart attended medical school at the University of Illinois with additional training at the University of Oslo, Norway. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery training at Tulane University and Stanford University Medical Center. As a former three-sport high school athlete and an avid outdoorsman, he has a diverse interest in sports injuries. Dr. Hart has extensive experience in rock and alpine climbing with notable summits throughout the western states and Alaska. He has also worked with the Chicago Marathon and assisted in the care of the San Francisco 49’ers. Dr. Hart's research interests are focused on the shoulder with recent work in shoulder instability, pectoralis major tendon ruptures, and biceps tendinopathy. In his free time he enjoys whitewater kayaking, endurance racing, mountain biking, and spending time with his family.
