Are you preparing for a career in the field of orthopaedics?
Interns at the ORFC perform a variety of duties in support of orthopaedic education and research. These individuals interact with physicians, fellows, residents and therapists in the clinic environment while collecting data and gather additional patient information in support of our outcome database or study specific protocols.
Interns also gain exposure to surgical skill training within our bioskills cadaveric laboratories where surgeons, device manufacturers and others work to improve techniques and procedures in “practice sessions” with actual human specimens.
Interns become part of a team focused on improving outcomes for orthopaedic patients. Successful interns have completed at least two years of college education and demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
To apply for an internship or obtain more information, please contact Jennifer Mercuri at Jennifer.mercuri@orfc.org |
