Who can use the labs?
These unique labs are available for surgeons, device manufacturers, surgical technicians and researchers.
What costs are associated with lab use?
Expenses associated with a lab session will include hourly or daily usage fees, specimen procurement and disposal, disposal garments, biohazard fees, set up and cleaning and other optional items including catering, and travel arrangements. A customized quotation will be offered prior to confirmation.
When can users schedule sessions?
Recognizing the hectic schedule for most surgeons, labs can be scheduled during traditional business hours, evening hours and on weekends. Please reserve space at least 48 - 72 hours in advance to ensure specimen procurement, set up, etc.
Will ORFC provide and/or dispose of specimens?
Lab users can furnish specimens or specimens will be provided based on the specific demands of each session. And disposal is available and in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Can teams train in the labs?
We welcome surgical teams into the lab to work to increase efficiency or develop new processes based on new devices, etc.
